Security
Security Philosophy
LuxeDetect™ is built on the principle that brand protection infrastructure must itself be protected to the highest standard. Security is embedded into every layer of our platform — from architecture and development practices to deployment and ongoing operations.
We operate a defence-in-depth model, ensuring that no single control failure can compromise Client data or service integrity.
Data Encryption
All data transmitted to and from LuxeDetect™ is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Encryption keys are managed through a dedicated key management service with automatic rotation and strict access policies.
Client data is logically segregated at all layers to prevent cross-tenant access. Content submitted for evaluation is processed in isolated environments and never used for model training.
Infrastructure
LuxeDetect™ runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS. Our environment employs network segmentation, firewall controls, and intrusion detection systems to monitor and protect against unauthorised access.
All infrastructure changes follow a controlled deployment process with peer review, automated testing, and rollback capabilities. Production environments are isolated from development and staging.
Access Controls
Access to LuxeDetect™ systems and Client data is governed by the principle of least privilege. All access is role-based, requiring multi-factor authentication and approved authorisation before any system interaction.
Administrative access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel, logged, and reviewed regularly. Access permissions are reviewed quarterly and revoked immediately upon role change or separation.
Vulnerability Management
We conduct regular automated vulnerability scanning across all production systems. Annual penetration tests are performed by independent third-party security firms. Identified vulnerabilities are triaged and remediated according to severity-based SLAs.
Our development lifecycle includes static code analysis, dependency scanning, and security-focused code reviews prior to deployment.
Incident Response
LuxeDetect™ maintains a documented incident response plan covering identification, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review. Our security team monitors systems continuously for anomalous activity.
In the event of a security incident affecting Client data, we notify impacted clients within 72 hours of confirmed discovery, consistent with GDPR and contractual obligations. Post-incident reports are provided detailing scope, impact, and remediation steps taken.
Business Continuity
LuxeDetect™ is architected for high availability with redundant systems across multiple availability zones. Automated backups are performed daily and tested regularly to ensure data recoverability.
Our disaster recovery plan is reviewed and tested annually to maintain readiness for service restoration in the event of a major incident.
Compliance and Certifications
LuxeDetect™ maintains SOC 2 Type II certification, demonstrating our commitment to security, availability, and confidentiality controls. Our data processing practices are aligned with GDPR requirements, and Data Processing Agreements are available for enterprise clients.
Our deterministic evaluation methodology supports traceability and auditability requirements for AI systems under the EU AI Act.
Responsible Disclosure
We welcome responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities. If you believe you have found a security issue in LuxeDetect™, please report it to security@luxefactor.ai. We ask that you provide sufficient detail for us to reproduce and address the issue, and allow reasonable time for remediation before public disclosure.
